About Niki
Niki graduated Summa Cum Laude from Regis University with a bachelors degree in Communication and Psychology. She went on to obtain her masters of Clinical Social Work from Newman University where she graduated with honors.
Niki has worked with diverse populations to include children and families at the Department of Human Services, incarcerated youth, homeless populations, medical and cancer patients, and those who have experienced trauma and trauma related issues, i.e. anxiety, depression, attachment dissorders and severe emotional/mental health disorders. Niki specializes in PTSD treatment, treatment for victim’s of physical and sexual abuse, anxiety and depression.
Niki utilizes trauma informed modalities of treatment to include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. See “Therapeutic Modalities” page above. Niki is also a Certified Master Hypnotherapist and enjoys this work very much.
Niki believes that all people deserve unconditional positive regard and takes a non-judgmental approach with her clients. She is an LGBT-allied therapist, cancer and cancer treatment allied therapist.
